They are ideal for viewing a count or total over a long distance. Applications include parts produced, parts on hand, crowd control, and a lot more. Exceptional count viewing distance, even outdoors in bright sunlight, is achieved with the large, 4", 6" or 9" tall, fluorescent yellow electromagnetic flip digits. "C" (Count) models are basic counters for counting up or down. Wiring is through a conduit box on the left side of the housing. Wire connections are provided for power, signal ground, counting up, counting down, and count reset. "PC" (Preset Count) models further have a keypad mounted on the right side of the housing. This allows a preset number to be entered into the counter, from which the count can then be incremented or decremented, depending on whether the signal is applied to the count up or count down wires. The keypad also provides Reset, Count-Up, Count-Down keys, plus a DIN connector to accept remote accessories: Remote Pushbutton for Count or Reset inputs (PB500-X), Remote Duplicate Keypad (RK600-X), and Large Button Remote Control (RC100-X). A sealed surface mount case provides protection for use in dirty or damp environments. Please see our Mechanical Section for dimensions. For additional protection, Model 468-4C may be ordered with a NEMA-4 rated enclosure. 115 Vac power is provided standard, with 230 Vac or 12 Vdc power optional.
